Ken updated his sled and he wanted to try it out. So, we went out for a short ride to see how he liked it. Put on 28 miles playing around on the trails south of pipeline and trail 1. My take is he likes it.
Really goes to show what the town of OF will do to keep the trails open by hauling in snow in areas that need it for access to the trails /business. Most places wouldn't do it, so Thank you .
For me it never started! Had to cancel reservations twice! Been coming up since 1976! Many happy memories with family and friends! Thanks Old Forge! From now on I’ll watch the videos and smile remembering what it was like.. Thanks Steve!
I do still ride, but my employment usually gives me the "checkmate" when it's time to run for it, but I get to watch the videos, and the live cam gives me a chance to watch the deer walk through the parking lot in the wee hours of the morning when I'm working overnights.
Old forge does a great job with their trails. Years ago we rode to the flat rock inn from OF. After a day of humping moguls on the hill. When we got back to OF the trails we’re butter!! I thought to myself why did I even leave OF….
I used to ride tug hill as well. The last time i rode there was during the week and warm, I ride without gloves. I had blisters on my hands from the moguls on the trails rocking the handlebars in my hand. Haven't been back since.
Wow.. you ride without gloves!!! You are one tough sob! Your probably that guy walking around in a t shirt on a 15 degree day. Don’t ever change my man.
Steve really appreciate what you do for the snowmobile community your reports are the best i make my decision on my 4 hour ride up from your videos. Was up riding last 3 days and the report was spot on thanks again steve.
Well looks like spring conditions with no base really wanted to come up next weekend I hope it changes but the way it's going highly doubtful just couldn't get up there this week you can't schedule trips anymore you just have to go when it's there
