Just in time............

 The snow we got saved the weekend. Are we going to have normal mid-February conditions? No What we do have is beginning of the season snow conditions, that started out with a marginal base.  Not the best, but better than nothing.

  1. Team DD just 45 miles today. No base to many rocks and 4th is to sketchy. Nice to see the red tent is back.

    1. When you see all the sleds on the cams and 7 inches of lake effect on trails with no base. Do the math. Rocks and snirt= not good. Ain’t worth driving up 5 hours to get there…

    1. Funny what a little snow will do for renting rooms. Rented more rooms last night and tonight than I did the first 15 days of the month.

  5. I saw this on Darrin’s website thought I would share…Snowmobile access onto Indian Lake from C8/Sabael trail has been CLOSED due to unsafe ice conditions on Indian Lake.

    Multiple accidents on the lake, open pressure crack, Rescue ATV through the ice. Speculator Fire and EMS also being dispatched, second ambulance from Indian Lake.Indian Lake Fire and EMS, snowmobile MVA on Indian Lake, 3 miles south of the marina.

  8. Just be safe out there and be happy you're up there riding there's no reason to take any chances. It's a long weekend and there's not a lot of snow to ride on and yes stay off the Lakes not worth it.

  9. 155 miles TEAM DD today. MRPs to IL. Up to Raquette lake for the ice fest. Inlet inner trails, OF inner trails to Big Moose. Daiks for din din, and off to Forged in the Blues at Tonys tonight. Never ventured onto the 4th or 8th lake today. Stay off them lakes dude!
