Wouldn't it be nice if the snow forecast was correct the rest of the season and we got what was predicted. Not like last winter, when they called for a foot and we got an inch. .One can only hope this season is better. Maybe that's what I'll ask Santa for this Christmas. A snow forecast that really happens.

We got the foot and there is still snow in the air at 10:45am. I'll post a video later on. Forecast is calling for the following:
LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT... * WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. Total snow accumulation of 10 to 20 inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Northern Herkimer and Hamilton Counties.
12:30PM Update The snow has started and it's sticking to the ground already. I drove some posts in the yard this morning and I'd say we have an inch or two of frost in the ground.

The 10 day forecast has snow in it 6 of the 10 days. The mountain is setting up the snow making guns. Could this be the beginning of the winter season?
