Last thing of the day I put the video together. At 10:15 Tuesday night the power went out and without power there's no video making. It came back on about an hour later, however the camera systems don't reset till the morning after a power outage. What did I mess up in this video?
Today's Video.................
I love the time lapse of the Information center cam showing the pine tree's bending down when they load with snow
ReplyDeleteNice to hear someone sees the beauty of mother nature and not going 90 MPH
ReplyDeleteAt 90 MPH you get to see more of it
DeleteWhat do you think Steve I'm thinking of coming up Saturday Sunday leave Monday
ReplyDeleteAll depends on how much R we see Friday. It doesn't look like it's going to be a big event. I went out for a rip this afternoon and it doesn't get any better than it is right now. Remember it is springtime, so black top roads are pretty much toast. Looking at the long range, I'd get in whatever you can. Because all next week looks like a thaw and freeze week coming at us. Trails will get iced over and that will put an end to riding.

DeleteAnd poof, just like that, all the naysayers that said the season was over back in January and again in February are nowhere to be found..... Best riding of the season in March. They must all be rookies.....
ReplyDeleteI agree with the last comment it's never over in Old Forge till they close the trails you never know what's going to happen up there it's the way it's always been. Maybe it's not like the '70s and 80s but at some point you will always be able to ride.
ReplyDeleteSteve regardless what happens Friday do you still believe we'll be able to get back to the motel from The Covered Bridge on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI did it two times on Thursday. The places where the town makes a trail along the side of the road, I'm guessing should be OK.
DeleteFriday morning. Just took a ride up the back street and the town has groomed the trail along the street.
