I sat down around 10pm Sunday night to do the video for the day and the next thing I knew it was 2am. So here is Sunday's video being posted on Monday morning.
There was a post from yesterday about "Free weekend" and how bad the trails were. 1) the onslaught of Non regular season pass holders coming in for FW destroys the trails and they can't be kept up on. 2) People know all to well what OF riding is all about and if you had a bad ride sorry to hear that , but for the most part OF has the best riding Bar None in NYS 3) FW is just that. You get what you pay for, most of the people that came out and turned the trails to a slurry, didn't buy a pass they rode outlaw and wouldn't be buying a pass anyway. 4) The propaganda ride the Cuomo started should end does nothing but to take away from the people that are willing to pay and stay. If you want to ride groomed trails pay the fiddler. if not go to the hill and it's "Free Weekend " every weekend. Keep Safe Ride Right 518
Hope this person complaining about the conditions came off 4TH lake in front of Daikers now that would have really pissed them off. Blessed to have been riding at all,praying for this coming weekend again. At this point Bad IS GREAT
Not at all, you go to dinner and get a free basket of bread doesn't mean the meal is free. Old forge trail system is a closed system permit only "Private". just because a bureaucrat decided to give away access to NYSSA trails doesn't mean you get access to a permitted area. Pay to play or go else where no one is stopping anyone.
The Trail Permit gives you the privilege to use the trails and can be taken away from you at any time. just like a driver's license it's a privilege to have it but also can be taken away at any time.
