    1. Flammable liquid:

Generally, a flammable liquid is a liquid that can catch fire. In the USA, there is a precise definition of flammable liquid as one with a flash point below 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

    3. There is nothing wrong with asking a simple question like 7:11 did. It's the way some people answer that will get your post deleted.

To answer the question. I would say they are thin at best. We have only had 6 to 7 inches of new snow after the warm up and bare roads. Then figure in a weekend of traffic on them.

    4. I have the same questions as 7:11. Thank you, Steve for removing the disrespectful blogs. Thank you for your answer. And, thank you for maintaining this site and the TOW Webcams.

  5. Steve,
It's got to be very nerve racking running a blog like this. Don't understand some people and what gets them off with some of the stuff they post on this site. I'm sure most people are afraid to post questions here with how others answer them. Been going to Old Forge since 96 and other than obvious change in weather patterns, my family gets treated great up there when we go. I quess some are not happy unless there bashing someone or somewhere. Sorry for rant, but it seams like it has gotten real bad lately

  6. Steve how about we have to sign up with a name or email address to post here. Used to check here everyday and share info, and give info when i could, but obviously not going to anymore. Thanks for all you do.

  7. I would have to agree. If people didn't jump all over the people that do post. I think more people would be willing to add information, information that has some real value. But who wants to take the time to post, just to have someone else pick on you. I'll have to give it some more thought on locking the blog down more, if more people would be willing to post.

    1. Why don't you go and compare the weather patterns in terms of snow and temperture when the roads didn't suck to now. Might educate your few brain cells that work.

    2. Very well said! But you should of left out the brain cell part.

    3. they suck because of one person. is that ok steve?

    4. If you are going where I think you are with that statement.....I would have to say no. There are many reasons for the change and not just one person can be blamed for it.

  13. Was up this weekend. Rode Moose River Plains - very nice once you got to the first T. Not too bad before that. The wind was amazing - kept an eye out for falling branches and watched it whiteout the lakes. Trail 5 was a nightmare, but if the cold keeps up the lakes will soon be ready. Thank you for the web cams and blog. It gives me a way to know what is happening and whether I should come up or not.
