Another great weekend here in the north! We had snow most of the day yesterday and it made conditions the best they have been all season. Heck you could even road ride this weekend. The snow at first was heavy wet stuff and it put a good base on the roads. It's hard to believe but SnoFest is only two weeks away.

Well I made it up Sat. AM around 3ish. Drove in almost white out conditions from Woodgate on. Went out Sat. mid afternoon and yes the roads were mint. Best I've seen since 2009. Now that it's been sub 20's for a few hours and the groomers should be out I'm heading out solo in about an hour at 7ish if anyones around??

ReplyDeleteTracks are mint! I went from Thendara Station up to Big Moose Station in 18 minutes. It was nice to see Rick and I recommend you all take a trip up and stop in. All the trails are groomed twice over. It's pretty awesome out there right now. Now we just gotta dodge about 4-5 hours tomorrow around noon.....

DeleteHey, I didn't eat at the Station. Just visited and had 2 beers. Now agreed I gorged at Slicker's but that was lunch and dinner and was suppose to be an hour earlier....lol Now filling-up at Fastrak requires a candy purchase at least 43% of the time. Hell Ya!!!

P.S. We have a 150+ mile day tomorrow starting at 8:30AM and just got in from a 54 mile night ride....
We came up on friday rode all day friday and saturday. Great weekend so glad we came up. Fingers crossed for more snow :)
