Off just a little bit.......

Well we didn't get the 8 to 12 inches of snow the forecast called for, but there is a good side to that.  We didn't get the precipitation in the form of R either, because if we did, there most likely wouldn't be anything left to even ride on.  In the last 24 hours we picked up a few inches of new snow.  This site http://www.wunderground.com/webcams/oldforge/2/show.html   records the pictures from the motel webcam and you can see that the snow level hasn't drop all that much over the last few days.  You can also look at time lapsed video from the webcam here also.   So on the meat scale of trail conditions, I'd give them a hamburger, cude steak rating right now, because they are soft from the warm temps and when they freeze back down, the rating will improve.   If we get the warm temps predicted for the end of next week, conditions may turn to Scrapple real fast.

Today's Video for...............

    1. Not true! Yamahas don't count, only Polaris and you need to bring Krispy Kreme donuts too. Just kidding, everyone pays the same room rate and I really don't need the donuts either. As I have put on a few pounds this winter, that need to go.

    1. You are able to get down through town, where they break the snow banks down. But if you are looking to road ride all over, don't. I'm not sure how Stillwater road or the roads over towards Brantingham are. Between the sun, temps and the salt the state puts down. I'm having trouble keeping my parking lot covered.

4th Lake was fine yesterday. Stillwater Lake has issues (slush areas, bump mounds...and the lovely stumps sticking up) but is rideable for sure. Stillwater Reservoir is a nice run along the Pine trees, out to the Norridgewock.
