Wait and see..............

Tuesday night the conditions over all are pretty good.  Now it's a wait and see on what we get over the next few days for weather and what damage will be done.  I'm hoping we just see light R or drizzle.  Even though we may miss out on a weekend of riding.  It could be a blessing on building some more base.  As the trails were pretty loose tonight and depending on the temps, it could help tighten them up.

Today's video...............

  1. Hi Steve. I'm hoping for the same thing. If we can get a nice solid base built up, maybe we can pull off a good season for the rest of the season.

    2. Nope. Never give up, never tap out. Never. And if you lose, embrace the suck, it builds character.

  3. Not a good outlook at all,I hope this is a lesson that change is needed in O.F. The whole recreational industry is in trouble and I am afraid it's not going to be a good ending. Need to quit treating the trails like a baby's bottom and use them to get business into town. IF NOT BYE BYE it's going away.

    1. The business has gone away, beating the snot pot of the tail system will only depleat it more and result in the closure of private property access when the trenches look like elephant traps. They may need to shift gears and start looking into the wheelers and put the snowmobile focus in the rear view mirror.

    3. With good property management, rule enforcement and hard work the ATV and UTV business could work. But it needs to get on the table and now, O.F. is losing its name.

    4. It’s not like snowmobiling is going to stop and if UTV ATV came into play it’s not like there is going to be the same amount out on the trails, it will be like riding mid week. A handful here and there. Sorry if my grammar and punctuation is off I saw that was very important to some.

    5. It's something to think about but some people are set in there ways and don't like change. The land didn't cost the town anything and there's no mortgage to pay on it so they don't care not even about the businesses in the town trying to put food on there tables.

  4. I bought new sled this year unfortunately no miles yet. When I couid ride there was no snow then when there was snow business was busy. The prices of sleds is ridiculous. I refuse to pay 18k plus. My 600 was 15 with tax for maybe a month of use. I love snowmobiling like all on here and been in this sport for well over 50 years but its getting to the point I’m begging to wonder if it’s worth it. All the money I’ve got in snowmobile and equipment would finish up our chevelle which is worth more and used more. Just getting frustrated I guess!

  5. I'm in the same boat. I'm looking at Canada, but that's not for everyone either. Wondering if it's time to look into side by sides and the like.
