Not sure if you should look at today's video or not. If you're one of those people that get really upset when the trail conditions, go downhill. It may be best if you don't look at today's video. It's not a wash out, but conditions have changed in the last 24 hours.
Today's Video........
Sorry Charlie, all TEAM DD sleds parked till further notice. We hate meltdowns!
ReplyDeleteJan. 26 and look at it,never ever did i think i would see it.
ReplyDeleteTrade Off No Snow No Black Flies
ReplyDelete12-18k per sled, 3500 gear, 10K +- trailer , 50 K truck 14 days of ridable season . Time to re-think my decisions.
ReplyDeleteI had same exact thoughts in 2014, sold everything and wished I did it years earlier. Winters aren't the same.
DeleteNeed to THINK VERY HARD
DeleteI sold my log cabin, 10 sleds and all our stuff in 2019 I miss it but this is sad. What season do u really get not worth it anymore
ReplyDeleteWe are just blessed to have all the good memories of the good old days in the area, sure did enjoy it. Maybe one day it will come back but until then we need to make a plan shift gears and move on.
DeleteAgreed did sledding for 20 years thanks! Joe
DeleteDamn everyone talking like the season is over 😂. It’s gonna come right back, does every time. if this was first week of March I’d say OK you people have a point
ReplyDeleteDave
Basically it's probably worth just coming up a couple times a year and renting a sled when it's good yes it's expensive but when you add everything up it's a fraction of what you spend new sled insurance everything else that goes with it.
ReplyDeleteOk Guys its 40°+ with a major melt down happening how about putting the sleds back in the trailer and stop ripping up what base was out there ?? OF Close the gates until further notice !!
ReplyDeleteDave
Dave you got nothing to say all the years of "Its Over" well guess what, people are taking notice , this new found positive attitude well for me dosen't cut it , OF as stated above needs to switch gears and start planning on what's next. Sure the season will come back in FEB, get a big amount in March but does it matter long term it's coming to an end. I've been in the game just like many others for years. I'm not getting out but nothing new, that part I'm done with . Time to rethink your right.
