Lake effect is in the Stillwater area. Let's cross our fingers and hope that it turns into a full out lake effect event for the entire area gets it. I know it's not in the forecast, but one can hope.
Was just coming on to post a comment, I think this just might be the second year in a row where we will not be riding MLK weekend. I really want to come up and support local businesses, but there’s absolutely nothing to do. Anyone try out that new spot in Eagle Bay the Eagle Bay House? I heard it was amazing. Dave
How about going to the movies, or too dinner at a restaurant or, or ,or Just saying, don’t you have a place up here Dave ? Put your money where your mouth is
Have to agree with you Dave. Not much to do,if you like the movies or go out to eat you can do that at home. Only thing this weather is good for is to sit and look out the window.
If you're a skier it is a good place to go. But the town needs to promote it and advertise it outside the area. There are people in the city that have never heard of Old Forge N.Y. and are skiers. Not too many places around that have any skiing at all.
It's a business in N.C When the temp.are right the guns are going for the entire season. The thicker the base the better. People come from miles around and it's busy all season.
