It's still the same, as it was yesterday. The only thing I can tell you that has changed, is the highway dept. brought more snow in on Park Ave (street behind the school) to make the trail wider along the street.
Was just reading posts from the last two days on here and I took away from it two things: 1-the trails suck. And 2: Steve has a bee in his bonnet bigger than the one in the tree. Chow for now- Ang
Big storm will come and many after that. This season will turn out just like last season. We will be riding well into march with good conditions. You negative people will have nothing but good things to say. Remember this post!!!
Big storm well offshore.....Be lucky if you see flurries up there...cold and quiet no snow in the forecast well into next week....let the bashing continue.
I think the best riding will be late Feb to mid March...Hey Steve in your archives how does this January compare to past winters overall ?? Just wondering what was the best and worst you have seen in your 20 + years in Forge ???
I was wondering how a ride would be from stillwater over to the pine tree. Rather than taking 1 over. How would it be taking stillwater road to the trail split. Not sure the number but all I know is that you would would make a left off the road and it eventually runs into 1 and then the logging trail then onto the road leading to the pine tree. Any thoughts. Thanks. Thinks snow! Also has anyone went over the reservoir following the trees to the norridgewock.
Can't say how the ride to Pine tree would be but rode over to Norrigewock from Eagle Bay on Sunday took the switchback over to trail 7 into Beaver River than the reservoir back to Stillwater Inn, great ride, but ride back Stillwater Rd thin trail 29 bad 5 to Daikers don't even need to comment 4th lake back to Eagle Bay. Man was I glad to see the lake. Do the snow dance everyone
I've had two different rooms go over to The Pine Tree this week. One said the trail you turn right on, that takes you to confusion flats wasn't anything to talk about and the other didn't say.
