We dropped down to 23 below this morning and if it stays clear tonight, I'm guessing it will get even colder. I could tell the temp was dropping pretty low last night, just by the way the roof was cracking. The groomers are out and Dave just told me they have everything in pretty good shape, even trail 5 was better than yesterday. Not much else to report, besides things sure have improved.
Today's Video for.......................
I rode Sunday and Monday put on 300 miles everything was in good shape by Monday morning only thing is corners are icey sure glad I came up only a few people on the trails
ReplyDeletedon't ever say lakes are SAFE. the old timer's always said 20 below no snow on the lakes makes 5 inches a night! the problem is the ice buckles and the water comes up the cracks. then the slush!. some times up to 2 feet or more. if any ever noticed ? you always see slush on the lakes below o but never see it at 32 with the sun out! then the ice heaves don't hit them the wrong way. just some food for thought.
ReplyDeletethank you for posting these videos...i look forward to them every day when i get home...you give good honest opinions...thanks again
ReplyDeleteAny signs of Lake effect over the next couple of days with the cold weather?
ReplyDeleteMost times when it gets this cold it really doesn't snow much. But it does look like some snow coming our way Thursday into the weekend.
