By what I'm seeing in the forecasts, this may be your last chance to get in some riding this weekend. Yes we will still have snow on the ground, but the trails will start to ice over and you won't have any cooling for the sled or slide rails. I'm sure we'll get another blast or two before it's all over. But you'll have to be right here to enjoy it, as it won't stick around long. I know it's sad, the season is coming to an end, but it's been a good one.

Last weekend we saw one camped out up at the rec hall on North st, all weekend.
I guess this way they don't need to rent a room or space from anyone ?

DeleteNo it's not a toy hauler across the street. It is a real tour but that brings a group up from Williamsburg, Virginia. They come up each year to enjoy the Adirondacks and winter camping in Raquette Lake. The driver stays here in Old Forge, because he feels there are more things to do and places to eat here.
