Opening day of the season and people got in some seat time. But not enough to get that sweet smell of two cycle in the air. We had some R today but not enough to do any real melting. So far the snow has just absorbed it. Later in the week is going to be the question.
Today's Video............
88 miles of smiles today on day #1 Team DD style!
ReplyDeleteFace it friends the world is getting warmer 10 to 48 degrees in 3 days this sport is dying oh well boating is coming
ReplyDeleteIt's sad but it's Mother Nature and no one is going to control it. Just going to have to make changes and work around it.
ReplyDeleteSo what do you think Steve. The I’m supposed to come up Thursday morning and ride and 1/2 day Friday. Temps seem to plummet we’d afternoon and possibility of descent snow. Am I being too optimistic? Your thoughts are appreciated
ReplyDeleteDave
Stay where you are,not worth it.
DeleteIf you take the guy below you’d advice, you’ll never ride. Join FB groups, watch the cams and the weather. Make an educated decision and ride if you’re able. We rode 1300 miles last winter, when most people barely got their sled out of the garage. It’s all about how badly you want to ride. It was 1300 good miles too.
DeleteThat was last year and you
DeleteStick a fork in it
DeleteWith what I'm seeing today stay home.
DeleteFor the guy who rode 1300 miles I guess you live close and can go at the drop of a hat.unfortunately a lot of us live far away and so insight from the locals is a big help to make a trip or not . Congratulations on your terrific season last your the best
DeleteLooks ugly on the webcams looks like ya lost a foot of snow already l
ReplyDeleteyes it does sloppy mess
DeleteYou guys are getting your panties in a bunch. It’s only the second week of December. You still have January February and March. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteman o man it did a job same old same old
ReplyDeleteTrial camera is down. Probably just as well.
ReplyDeleteI walked out last night to see why and the power is off. I have to check into why it's off.
DeleteIf the advocates don't back off the county will start to close the roads to snowmobiles. Piss the right people off and it will happen. Hope they don't piss off the highway superintendent in the TOW then there will be trouble. Cars and trucks on the roads come first and then snowmobiles. None of this would be if there was a old winter.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest with you, I wish people would stop saying all these negative things about the weather and the sport and the rain and anything else that pertains to it if you’re a true diehard snowmobiler, shut up and wait for the good conditions and go ride otherwise stay home And let the true diehard snowmobilers go play in the snow
ReplyDeleteis the beach open this weekend
DeletePlay in what? don't know what that is.
DeleteWell said!! It is what it is. Like I said before….maybe you cry babies should take up skiing ⛷️. As long as it’s cold you’ll always have snow😂😂!
DeleteEvery year is the same season, gets going in January then it thaws out around the 15th we get more and hope for the best for valentines weekend, then it thaws out and big storm end of February thaws out around St Patrick’s Day then it’s over
ReplyDeleteSeason 2024-25 you get about 8 weekends if we’re lucky for the season.
