LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM THURSDAY TO 7 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 7 and 15 inches with locally higher amounts of up to 20
inches north of Route 28 in Herkimer County. Winds gusting as high
as 40 mph will lead to areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Hamilton and Northern Herkimer Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Thursday to 7 AM EST Friday.

Cross your fingers we get it.  If we do we'll be back in business.  Because you'll see in today's video we took a good hit over night.  Won't be the first time we went from poor to good over night.

Forgot to include this in the report:
The Town of Webb Snowmobile Trail System has MARGINAL conditions overall on up to 5” of saturated base. Grooming is suspended due to rain, mild temps and extremely mushy conditions. There may be water on the trails in many areas. Trail #10 has unavoidable standing water on the trail 1.5 miles north of Rondaxe.

    1. Just got back from the trail cam. Not sure how all the trails are. By what I saw you can get in some trail miles. It really helped that the groomers had things packed down before the R. You aren't going to do any road riding that is for sure. How long will it last is another question all together.
