How sad is it that I'm looking for it to rain. The river level is at the low point for running trips and there isn't much in the forecast to bring the level up. I'm just hoping it doesn't drop more and they have to cancel trips this weekend.

In the north county they say they have two seasons. Winter and Fourth of July. Well I guess they can add a third. The gray overcast kinda drizzling not really winter and definitely not summertime season.

DeleteIn the last few years business in the area have lost millions in combined revenues, not to mention tax's to the state and some would say that tax's don't matter F the state the only problem with that, the loss of monies has to come from somewhere Aunt Kathy needs her cut. The way of life is changing you can ignore it or tear the Band-Aid off. Bad winters mean bad spring , What's left is 13 weeks to make your nut for the year. Tear the Band-Aid off and explore options , at the least have an open debate.

You are correct. The old regime and new blood can peacefully coexist if both sides would be willing to soften up the stance a little bit. If neither side gives, both will fold. The only question left is work together, or which side of the blade do you prefer?
