Cross your fingers..............

Ok so they didn't get the forecast correct for the snow totals.  Not anything new for this winter.  But cross your fingers for us that they get it correct for Monday.  They're expected to have around 100,000 people in the area for the eclipse.   Just think how happy all those people will be if it's cloudy and R coming out of the sky.

Today's Video...............

  1. Heard about a lot of people going up there for the eclipse.
Hope it at least somewhat helps some of the small businesses out, that certainly weren't helped by a very bad snowmobile season this year.

  2. Yep 100,000 people don't know where that number came from. But if the R comes they will all get wet and have to wait till next time to see it. OH WELL LIFE GOES ON

  4. I'm in Hamlin, just north of Brockport. We're expecting 500,000 in the general area with 150,000 of that in Brockport. You know that little town with a college. National Guard is coming here, all the PD'S have all of the officers scheduled. I wish I went someplace a long ways away on vacation.

  5. You do know. The same people who predict the forcast are the ones who are predicting the number of people to watch eclipse. Cut in 1/2

    1. Good one! Even going with that number we'll have a lot of people in town. Peak season in the summer it's guessed that we have around 35,000 people. So 50,000 will fill the place up.

    2. The reason why a lot of very large businesses are closing Monday, so they aren’t responsible for employees looking up at the eclipse and then claiming workers comp .
Can’t fix stupid only can try to avoid it.

  9. I agree! Especially the younger generation…..the ones that their parents give them everything so they figure there’s no reason to work and the ones that believe our government will give them everything under the sun!
