It still felt like winter this morning, by afternoon we warmed back up and it felt like spring again. By Saturday afternoon any of the new snow we just got will be gone and we'll be back to the ugly once again.
Is the governor's ride still on for next weekend? Maybe they will bring ATVs and blast down trail 5 to Inlet? Lots of dignitaries and high level NYS brass may attend.
For years Duffeys did the ice drags the year after year conditions deteriorated think about it the last one I may be wrong was 2018 . It’s like watching the snow pull back on the web cams that’s our riding season.or as a sport all together. Sad
Since we can’t post about trail conditions here’s a quick story. Many years ago (when Dave was just a baby) me and the wife were heading north to OF. Our five hour trip was extended to seven hours because it was snowing really hard. I mean 28 had ten inches of snow on it and We all know how hard they hit that road. When we got to our destination (I won’t mention the establishment) our room key wasn’t on the door like they usually do it. We just traveled seven hours it was 2 o’clock in the morning and everything was closed!! I didn’t know what to do. So upon turning around I noticed Christie’s light was on, like a beacon in the storm we pulled in and lo and behold Steve was sitting at his desk just enjoying the storm. Apparently his whole hotel was booked but one room was empty because they were coming in the next day so he let us stay in that room but we had to clear out in the morning.. no big deal better than sleeping in the truck!! just wanted to say thank you Steve! You saved our asses.. this was pre-Vlog..so Steve you do so much for the snowmobile community more than you know.
Steve is the kind of guy they don't make much anymore, and that's a shame because we all suffer that loss. And if he ran for office, I'd vote for him, and stuff the ballot box, although he wouldn't need that.
Need someone like him with a set, to get things turned around and headed in the right direction. The bunch in there now suck and that's putting it very mildly. It's a joke.
I’m just glad he’s an insomniac if not I would’ve been sleeping in the truck that night… you guys got the poor guy running for mayor.. We need Steve right where he’s at he doesn’t need that headache.
Give this Dave thing a rest! You guys are a bunch of babies! There’s nothing anyone can do about no snow! Suck it up buttercups and look forward to next year!!!

DeleteAnd just to add The supervisor business should be a businessman that cares about the businesses in the area.
