You would think this was my first post of the season. I forgot to include the snow total from this morning. I started shoveling off the deck each morning around the same time to get a snow total for the day. This morning wasn't that big of a day, I'd give it 2 inches tops.
Open the gates I guess this town made enough money off winter I’ll spend my future riding in northern New England where there actually still riding and grooming
Read between the lines on OF trail condition page and do the math . ITS OVER they WON"T OPEN THE GATES even if we get a foot of snow. seasons over, Monday it's going to be 47 degrees warm from there. They aren't going to burn 10k to get the trails ready for one day of riding. wake up
Exactly, and even if they did, it's a mud base. I'm not subjecting my sled to that. Then you can have all of the additional maintenance that will accompany that flash in the pan sled ride. No thank you.
Town made up their mind to not reopen trails weeks ago. All their report states us excuses why they wont open. They got our money and dont care. Not purchasing a yearly permit next year. At best ill get a weekly which is all ive been able to ride last couple of years. Or stay in tug hill instead. Better riding down there anyway.
Either Dave was out walking his dog or old forge now has wolves… Steve was I seeing things? was that a dog or maybe a coyote??

ReplyDeleteNot sure where you're riding on Tug hill, during the week not bad, weekends are a raging shitshow, thousands of sleds per hour crossing at montague.
