Pretty sad to say the season is half over and we only had about 10 days of riding. Let's hope the last half is better than the first half. Dave has a new camera and he brought me lots of video to work with. 11pm local forecast is calling for 2 to 5" of lake effect on Wednesday for Old Forge.
Today's video............
10 days is very sad, need to get the 4x4 with tracks on the trails. Even if only part of the trail system was open it would help to keep things going.
ReplyDeleteIf the Town Board and the Supervisor care about the business people and want to promote the winter trade this could work. If not it just goes to show what you're dealing with.
ReplyDeleteNever happen
ReplyDeleteSo you know what you're dealing with already? They don't care?
Deletethey will survive just like last 40 + years
ReplyDeleteThere are more ways to make it work instead of just survival. All that land to work with and didn't cost the town a dime, use it that's what Dick Cohen would want.
DeleteKeep them in tughill
ReplyDeleteTughill is thriving with snowmobiling and atvs, face it its getting warmer and if you don't change you will wither and die
ReplyDeleteThey got it going on. doing what it takes and looking out for the business man.
DeletePeople will always go to oldforge either way, they have their followers, tug has theirs, its all good
ReplyDeleteYou're another one that can't look and see what's happening and doesn't care about the business in town
DeleteYes its their business, not ours,we choose where to spend money, its not that big of a deal, some people are trying to make it their business
ReplyDeleteNo i look at it as a property owner a tax payer and a business man. And the business in the area needs to change with the times, and we need to be able to live and pay the taxes. Not just survive.
