Jipped again...............

Didn't see the 2 to 5 of lake effect the local station called for. Got a heavy dusting at best.  You can tell we hit 2 below this morning by the steam coming off the river at the covered bridge.  How are the conditions? Depends on what you are looking for.  Have some guests putting on 75 miles and happy with that and other are doing 200.  It may not be perfect, but you can ride.

Today's Video...............

  1. Sad season for sure, another reason to rethink the cost of it all, No new sleds or upgrades coming my way in the near or distant future. I'm getting out but in a different way !

    1. I always bought slightly used like new sleds, never new, but now they need to open to other vehicles.

  3. I have plans to come up Wednesday afternoon for some nice midweek riding. Forecast is showing rain for Tuesday then Teetering for the rest of the week. Who the hell knows what going on with this season so far. I’m at the point where just end it and let’s start thinking about summer. At least boating is guaranteed weather for the most part

    1. I went to Old Forge from 2003 till 2019 rented first 3 seasons then bought 2 houses and sold last house in 2019, I still come up from time to time but its not the same riding snowmobiles anymore. I love ADK but boating is the only thing promised. You need to open the trails to 4 wheelers and other type vehicles.

    1. You said they better change or board it up for the winter. The town needs to sell the groomers and shut down the department, just costing money and for what.
