Stock Pile..................

We had lake effect today again and added another inch or two to the snow total for the week.  Looks like another 4 to 6 on Thursday and Friday.  Which is OK by me, let's stock pile some snow.  Never hurts to have a extra foot or two on the ground, just in case you need it.  It also makes live so much easier on the groomers, when they don't have to worry about clipping something with the mogul master.

Today's Video..............

  1. Steve I as many others appreciate all you do. Look forward daily for your videos Do you know if the pine trees are on Stillwater yet? and if deemed safe to ride lakes?

    1. I don't think they put the trees out yet and I don't see them on the webcam. If look at the left side of the picture at Stillwater you can see the snow bank is piled up where the boat ramp is. That tells me it isn't good yet. Also if you look at the picture today, you can see someone went out there to the right of the little island and it looks like slush to me. As for the other lakes I can't say one way or another. Thanks for watching and the kind words.

    1. Trust me so do I. Just found out two days ago that the internet connection that was in the works to run it, isn't. I'm hoping to break away from here the beginning of next week and try something else to get it back online.

  5. Wait at least another week.Temps will be in the single digits and below zero at night. Even then, unless you personally know ice fishermen who can verify the thickness of ice. The lake was slushy behind Diakers just the other day. There’s plenty of snow to get around on the roads and trails.
