Lake Effect Snow Warning ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST THURSDAY... ...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THURSDAY TO 10 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT... For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 24 inches for areas near and along Route 28 across the western Adirondacks. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
