No grooming or maintenance will take place on the portion of trail 7E which is closed. This may also impact our ability to groom trails north of the closed area such as the BoyScout camp area, Brandy Lake Trail 7C, the Round Pound Trail, and trail 7C that heads out towards Boonville.
The Trackside Blazer Club officers & the many volunteers that put in countless hours working on the trails and maintaining good landowner relations do not appreciate the utter STUPIDITY of some people who cannot follow simple instructions to stay on the trails & NOT GO OFF trail riding.
With the expected rain on Monday, the rails may be closed to riding, so no north south travel will be possible at that point!
So to put it simply, because of a few the majority of us are now punished!
This sign & fence was just put in place last Saturday after individuals rode off trail onto the White Otter Fish & Gun Clubs private property. They destroyed the White Otter Fish & Gun clubs fence, this replacement was done with Trackside Blazers club money/time.
In the above picture the TRAIL is off the the right side of the trees on the right. The area straight ahead of the camera shot is OFF LIMITS to riding!

What a bunch of thugs these people are. I don't ride that area but I can certainly respect the closing of the trails. I feel bad for those riders that use that area..now you're screwed. too bad there are not remote webcams there to catch the thugs !!!
ReplyDeleteThey turned themselves in already. 17,17 and 14
ReplyDeleteWatched an old John Wayne movie last night 'Big Jake'. The movie starts out with an old fashion hanging....nothing more to say regarding these ignorant bottom feeding slobs..!

ReplyDeletePlease be sure to report any of these morons that you become aware of. Just my opinion but things are changing in this sport sometimes for the worse. When I was a kid you were brought up to respect your sled, weather, the land, and of course your elders (what a concept). These days any moron with an 80k decked out pickup and a brand new 800 (that they have no idea how to ride) thinks that they own the world. Sometimes it makes me sick to sit in some of our establishments and listen to these punks talk about jumping over people fences and doing 100mph through fields their not supposed to. I have had quite a few arguments with these morons and the worst just laugh at you cause they don't care. Things need to change back to old school respect or we will have nothing to ride on.
ReplyDeleteTime to take a look at the young and entitled and get in their face when they are confronted with bad decisions that affect the greater Snowmobiling population.. And demand they take off their Huggies and accept due process
ReplyDeleteWell now trails are closed due to ignorance and possibly lack of reading skills. Just wanted to thank these young disrespectful children for ruining riding for people who use those trails. I however want to thank the club's and the town for making riding and old forge what it is. Now weed out the dumb throttle jockey disrespecting children and we will be in great shape.
ReplyDeleteDamn Millennials !!!
ReplyDeleteJust because they are 17 and 14 does that make it ok? Where the F--- are the parents who parked there butts on machines. They should replace the barriers and go to the land owners and apologize. The kids as well as the parents are responsable
ReplyDeleteHit the nail square on the head. SomeONE should be held accountable. It is something we are greatly lacking in today's society in general. Here is a chance to straighten out some youngsters (and maybe even a couple of parents).
DeleteOne of the reasons I gave up riding is the lack of RESPECT BOTH RIDING AND NON RAIDING lack of it
ReplyDeleteWould of like to have my granddaughters ride but with the nuts out there anymore I could not live with myself if something happened to them due to some of these riders
Ahhhhhhh fudge.....(except I didn't say fudge)
ReplyDeleteyou as the parents who gave these little one the sleds need to park them and let them earn there way into the big boys world .
ReplyDeleteThe parents need to reimburse the club for time and materials as well as any money to repair the damage to the landowners!!
