The webcam I showed you a picture from is at Nelson's Cottages in Inlet. It looks out over 4th lake right at the boat ramp. The same ramp you would use to get on to 4th lake. So it should be a fun cam to keep an eye on this winter. Here is the link to it http://www.nelsonscottages.com/webcam/
Here's Todays Video for.......
Looks like the snow is coming down!
ReplyDeletewow www.oldforge.net
ReplyDeleteTrails were great yesterday should be outstanding today

ReplyDeleteNICE PIC OF 4TH LAKE, GOOD JOB STEVE THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteOn Dec 25th someone posted that the trail to Brantingham was barricaded about half way down... Can anyone verify if this is true? It would be helpful to know so I don't plan a trip in that direction if I won't be able to get through. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSteve, You are AWESOME! Thanks for all you do. This is an incredible resource for us out of towners... as long as people use it for its intended purpose.
In brantingham now came from old forge no barricade. awesome ride
ReplyDeleteSteve
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for including our webcam on your great blog.....and as you know, if it wasn't for you, there would be no webcam to show 4th Lake and the boat launch.
A toast for 2013...wishing you lots of snow and a full motel

How much snow on the ground.
ReplyDeleteThank you
Deletegreat snow in the trals. zero on the roads.plowed @ sanded to death !
DeleteIt's not cold enough for snow to stay on the roads the way these town idiots sand them. Once again a great place to to eat like red dog on south shore is a slider/carbide killer...bunch a monkeys..
ReplyDeletethey mixed up an extra hot batch for the snowmobilers this year. Roads are falling apart at 18 degrees this year with no sun.
DeleteFreezing. Mist... Great.
ReplyDeleteWith such a short season to ride you'd think someone would address the salt issues there.
ReplyDeleteC'mon guys, leave a little white strip to get to the trails.
Please!!! Not too much to ask for.
I want to support the local economy!
Exactly...not too much to ask for!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is every year, one storm and here we go on the salt issue, it sucks. there you go, steve said it all depended on what kind of snow fell,if it got packed on the roads, and here we are, a foot to a foot and a half of heavy wet storm snow and the roads are falling apart a day later at 18 degrees. you do the math...
DeleteI won't say there bad till I c them with my own eyes. Heading up in the morning!!
