I'm still predicting this week is going to be one of the best weeks of the season. If you can get away, do it. It still looks like this upcoming weekend is going to be a stay at home weekend. Cross your fingers it changes. At worst it looks like just a bump and not a wash out.

Love reading the comments especially this time of year, It’s always the same crap .. Town of Webb, more like Town of Whiners, the season might start in December on paper but let’s face it we never get riding till mid January. As for the money spent give it a rest this is one of the most expensive sports you can get in to , nothing is cheap the only plus is if you take care of your equipment it lasts for Years!! But then you cave to the pressure of having something new and well there you go . 20k per sled because you’re not at entry level anymore. As for grooming no one does it better than OF, Go hit the Hill and see what you get a trip to the back surgeon, ride VAST great trails , great grooming but that’s all you do is ride and best plan for gas because after 6 pm nothing is open. The season is just getting started plenty of time to bitch

ReplyDeleteYou say riding in Vermont is great but all you do is ride well isn’t that the objective.Don’t get me wrong I like stopping for a beverage but in old forge the main idea is to ride a barstool and not your sled.

Have been in Vermont many times to ride in st johnsbury,Danville Cabot,Groton ,barre,island pond etc.martys one stop for fuel in Danville also in Cabot smiths deli and gas ,upper valley grill in Groton gas right by the Essex house in island pond etc.Food trail side is there but not plentiful goodfellas is good by Danville and Essex house in island pond but most of the time back shorty after dark and grab a shower and head out to eat refreshed the days of night time ditch banging are done also try Quebec it’s great up there rode eleven years in a row up there usually stayed in st donat
