Just wanted to get in a quick post for those that are checking out what is going on in the north country. Cross your fingers that they miss the boat on the forecast for Sunday night. A little R could help with the base. But we don't need a replay of a the last R event.

These 1 day warmups with rain are killing us, temps should drop like a rock tomorrow night with snow on the backside hopefully we don’t get a lot of R or freezing rain

DeleteIt’s been that way for years cold no snow warn up rain,who really knows we’re all on top this because we are hyper focused on the season and how it affects us, you just can’t hope it away, when I was a kid the snow was up to my waist, but then again I was 5 and a lot shorter than.

Rt 8 Eddy and Greg D in town this evening really whipping it up at Tony’s. They said those new 850 Riots made them do it.
ReplyDeleteI was up there for the weekend. Didn’t see 1 groomer out. Trails were bumpier than ever.
ReplyDeleteYou’d think it was packed up there this weekend by how the trails were (bump wise) but it wasn’t busy at all and they were horrible!
Steve, I’m starting to think it’s to control people’s speed on the trails? Just let them get beat to shit to force people to drive slower. But my god it wasn’t even enjoyable. The town must do something about this. Trains should not be that bad.

ReplyDeleteI feel bad for those expecting smooth trails and getting crap (sorry for the bad language) but without adequate snow....not alot can be done. Still alot of season left so keep your chins up!
