    1. The tracks are a state trail. Track Side Blazers does up to Thendara. Beaver River does down to Thendara. Both get paid by the state to do them. There have been times that Old Forge has groomed some of it. But they get paid nothing for doing it. And you never know when the club is grooming and it would be a real mess if they met each other on the tracks.

    3. Beaver river club only seems to groom from beaver river to big moose station. Supposed to do from Sabattis to Thendera but dont. Hell complains about the rails constantly but theres plenty if snow on them now if he groomed them to make them amazing. Guess he only cares about people making it to the restaurant from trail 2. Been like this for years.

  3. Tragic day on 4th lake 4 out of 5 piled up on a broken down left behind sled ,at least one is no longer with us. not sure if the person(s) who left the sled out on the lake will be liable or not. That doesn't take away the hurt of loosing someone especially so young . actions have reactions even if unintentional . It's a dangerous sport we're in, most of us ride fast, faster than we should especially on the lakes, your expecting or at least looking for ice heaves not a blacked out stationary object in the middle of nothing. This could have happened to anyone of us.
Condolences to the Family we all lost one of our own.

  6. That’s a shame. There’s actually is such a thing called out running your headlights. At 55 miles an hour it takes at least a football field length just to stop. Please Be safe everyone.

  7. There's no reason to go 70 miles an hour on the lake at night or anytime you never know what is out there. That sled should have been pulled off the lake immediately someone had to have a rope with them so sad. I mean even if you're going 30 miles an hour at night it would be very hard to see it especially if there's wind in a little bit of snow coming down.
