Yesterdays melt down hurt us for now. But the most important thing is the base is still holding. We are so lucky that the groomers got out early this year and started packing the trails when they did. Because if they hadn't, we wouldn't have the base we do now after these warm ups. So no riding for you today. Not unless you want to spend a few bucks at the dealer fixing your sled back up.

Looks like one of those years. When it’s there you just have to go, if you wait a day it might not be there. Don’t be one of those who wait for the perfect day because you might not get a single day of riding.

ReplyDeletePike Bros. racing scrambled and totally depressed as we sit home in Scranton watching youtube videos of past seasons riding this week. Hard to beleive its junk and no end in sight with more rain predicted for next week. Sad, very sad.
ReplyDeleteAmen Dave! Case in point. Rode Thursday, the 27th. Was it great? No. Was it bad? In spots. Did I bend a worn carbide runner? Yes. Was it worn out from last year? Hell yes.
