It's all going to hinge on what we see over night when the cold front passes. I'm crossing my fingers that it's enough to get things frozen back down and rideable for the weekend. Yes conditions may not be what we've seen so far this season, which has been really good. But after looking at the long range forecast, you better ride it while we got it. Because by next week it could be down right ugly around here. So take a look at the cams in the morning and go from there. It won't be the first time things have changed overnight.

ReplyDeleteTrails look like our toilet when my kid gets done.
ReplyDeleteHi Steve, Is it possible to ride from the motel to the trails.
ReplyDeleteYes, but up at the church, where you have to go on the road it will be thin to nothing.
DeleteJust blame Tony. He bought a new sled last week. Jinxed us for rest of season!!
ReplyDeleteBetter get used to a few weeks off from riding..It's gonna be a few weeks until this mess and next weeks heat wave can be repaired...I agree with Steve...Likely starting over from scratch...Damn shame !!!
DeleteDamn you Tony. Just kidding
ReplyDeleteDrain the Swamp!
ReplyDeleteI'm coming up to ride this weekend. Make the best of it!!
ReplyDeleteHey Steve,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to ask a question. Are the trails in some what alright condition with the R we had? Or should I stay home and not waste 4 hours of a drive? I'm not sure what to do. Can you please give me YOUR opinion on this one Steve.
Thanks!
Any advice on coming up. Have a house but don't want to travel 5 hours to do minimal riding. Next week doesn't look that good either. Would there be problems over heating since the base will be rock solid.
ReplyDeleteLooks like were starting from scratch
ReplyDeleteWOW - there goes January. Looks like just after the Super Bowl there might be a chance to ride again if snow ever falls in decent amounts ever again. Not even being negative, just being honest...ugh
