The radar isn't showing it, but we have had light snow in the air all morning. Nothing to write home about, but enough that at the end of the day you have an inch or two. It's overcast and that's what important!
Well are you just the positive thinker! I only see one day with R in it and that's almost a week out. A lot can change from now till them. Ask Santa to bring us some snow and not R on Christmas Eve Day. ;-)
I agree with Steve. It's only December and this month is tricky anyway..I already have 200 miles on the new sled after only a day and a 1/2..Jan, Feb and March will be good as usual.
Did anyone pay attention 9 days before sno deo when they were calling for R and then wham snow.... even the best weather forecasters get old forge all wrong. The nay-sayers are only showing their rookie stripes. Stick to your day jobs.
hey john this is my 40 year snowmobiling up here! i'm 66 years young. boy how things have changed! all for the worse. this place was the best! everybody got along!!! this whole trail system was designed for trails and roads . now every road is plowed @sanded BARE! all they have to is leave some snow on the side so everybody can get around! I remember when the senior citizen's drove around in chevy impala's 2 wheel drive's @never hade a problem! now with all this salt @ sand it make's some slop. what a shame. this pace had it ALL !
I let the above post be posted for one reason.....to remind everyone that this is the kind of post that I will delete. This is not the place to complain about something you are not happy with, take it up with the people you have the beef with.
Heck, I remember the days when Route 12 would be snow covered with hard pack as far south as Norwich. But those days are gone and the weather we had then also has gone away. So be happy for what you have and not what you don't have. You could find out next week that someone you know or yourself has cancer. Now that is something to get upset about!
dont think it really matters. Next week is rain rain and more rain. No riding until January some time.
