Twas the day after Christmas and all through Old Forge, not a snow flake was falling, the groomers were bored. One lonely snowmobile was unloaded with care , in hopes that a snow storm soon would be there. The guests slept snug in their beds, while visions of freshly groomed trails danced in their heads. They woke in the morning without any snowplow clatter and headed for home until things got better. As they drove away, you could hear them say, we'll be back on another snowy day.
Today's Video.................
Atta boy Steve,
ReplyDeleteKeep the positive attitude.
You brightened my day
Steve you are a man of many talents!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust went outside. DO NOT EVEN NEED A JACKET!!! Looks like trails have a zero base. We have to start from scratch yet again. OF is NOT the snowmobile capital anymore. Its a shame the snow just dosent stay around like it used to. Either its too warm to snow, or too cold (like last year). Either way I will still keep my sled.
ReplyDeleteIt's been like this every year since I started riding which was three years ago this being my fourth and it's all ways been a wash out in December if we were lucky we got couple.miles on in December then it was all gone mid Jan it was usually good riding for rest of season we still got plenty of time to ride
ReplyDeleteWill be riding by next week. This is just a little bump in the road
ReplyDeleteRiding by next week? Guess you should try looking at the cams. There is no snow. Spring conditions. Maybe a few inches of snow next weekend. Not nearly enough to ride. Try back in at least 3 more weeks.
