Well we got precipitation yesterday but not in the form that we needed it to be. The R started just after I posted the report and it never changed over to snow like it was predicted to do. One of the guests that checked out today has a neat system for hauling his sled. I'm sure some of you have seen them before but there isn't much else to report on. Here is a link to the site for it www.liftallandtoyrack.com
Here's Today's Video......
talked to friend who lives by dailers. Trails are gone, but lake still ok for short term. They need a freeze bad.

Z1turbo....Thurs, and Fri. might be brutal, but just bring a couple cans of white spray paint up and spray your face shield a little, and maybe some ear plugs so you don't hear the rocks and pavement you will be hammering. Kind of like riding home in the dark after some soda pops.....What you can't see or hear happening to your sled, won't hurt as bad.
ReplyDeletelike i said , need an EPIC snow storm 4 feet of blower pow at 5% cant wait to see it..!! but that #*%! fat lady for now is singing oh yeah ice fishing party burnt lake feb.22 see ya.
ReplyDeleteHey dude, let this winter tell its own story. If ground is frozen, that feb 1st could buy weeks of fun.

ReplyDeleteIt's bad - like real bad! I feel awful as this was to be a great weekend up in Inlet. I hope the hockey tourney still goes off and I still may even come up Thursday-Monday to at least put my stickers on my sled and hang out. Outside shot of squeezing in my first ride of the season on Monday I suppose?? The Zippy ride (well the actual ride part) is all but cooked Joe, but I know you'll have fun with the other social parts of the weekend, I'm sure of that at least....sorry man! The 0-1" dusting occurring right now is nothing. I still can't imagine this Fri. 1/27 & Sat. 1/28 it may rain due to 30+ temps. I mean WTF?? I would have bet a lot against these highs this late into the season......UGH
ReplyDeleteT.T.
You people act like you are the only ones that cant riide we are all in the same boat this year. No one has control over mother nature if we did I would have it snow 6 months out of the year! We all have to wait and see what she has in store for us. Stop whining!
ReplyDeleteWell it's all gonna be starting from scratch on 1/26 after 32 and mostly sunny on Thursday! That's not a common or welcomed site for late Jan. I'm still hoping for a sick 3 week run of great riding from 2/9 on.....that's my best guess and my hope at least!!!
DeleteTIM where have you been? your only about a month off. but your still the man!
ReplyDeleteHey Steve. I know most of the snow melted but how did the base hold up? Could you guys be right back in business with some snow like last week?
ReplyDeleteafter today, they are starting over. Its been warm. Huge storm on first and then hopefully a rocking month.
DeleteHey I have great news!!...I'm not spending any money on snowmobiling this season...I'm just saying..haha

ReplyDeleteI wanted to let everyone know that Rick "Scooter" from Scooters in Forestport, NY passed away yesterday. Scoot was a good person and bar owner, he will be missed.
ReplyDeleteHe invented the "funky" wing -so popular in Mohawk Valley when he owned South Trenton Pub.

Hey Rat from the River..Take a chill pill and relaaaax..Many of us are getting through this terrible season with sarcasm but I chose humor at this point. As a regular at Christys I'd be there every 10 days if I could spending money but mother nature won't let me. I'd be glad to join a bowling league if you loan me one of your shirts and a pair of your sunday church shoes...punk...

Hey SB, if sarcasm is your forte...then I'd expect you to catch mine. We are all having a little fun here....Think snow! Oh, and Screw you SB.
ReplyDeleteComing up this weekend regardless. I'll do circles on 4th lake if I have. Gonna watch some pond hockey too. Lol
ReplyDeleteYou people are all a bunch of clowns if i were steve i would get rid of this blog because i cant stand u people running your mouths about the conditions it is what it is deal with it

ReplyDeleteLETS NOT TURN ON EACH OTHER NOW!! THE FRUSTRATION IS CLEARLY GETTING TO ALL OF US, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
ReplyDeleteBR
I agree, let's just head up north and enjoy the hockey tournament, spend some money at the local businesses, and be thankful for all that Steve does. I apologize for getting SB fired up, but I am sick of negative comments about something that is beyond our control. Keep dancing!
ReplyDeleteThats the Kumbaya moment I was looking for.....
ReplyDeleteMaybe good Karma will bring SNOW!!!!
