This weekend is always a funny one. Lots of people in town. But not always the same people you see other times during the season. This weekend you see a lot of families and people riding two up with the kids.

DeleteYou’re right about something has changed, town politics? Cost Analysis ppp (price per permit) and mgc (miles groomed cost) equals big bumps and fuel and labor savings. Give the consumer just enough to keep coming back, maintain do just enough no more. The way of the world they turned OF into a must make a profit town . Not the build it and they will come that it was founded in

ReplyDeleteDoing better!!!! The it’s over is in reference to the fact that the sport as a whole has changed the business model has changed.!! In the past probably before your time was do the very best that you can, support the sport, and the sport supports you ie the town. Now with the politics of maximizing profits that business model has changed. Every thing has changed in OF ,almost everyone isn’t Local anymore , as for the trails we all know how they have changed.

Business has never been out to support you, it's out to make money and support itself. Or it's not a business for long. It's not always fair but oh well. You either ebb and flow with it or you don't. Either way it's been a great season and Steve and most here have been enjoying hearing so much good to report for a change. So take the sour shoes and kick rocks. Nobody cares. Never did. And I'm no kid or young buck for anyone to be talking about what's before my time. Thanks.
DeleteI’m not sure what everyone is talking about. It’s been like this forever. It was a holiday weekend!! The trails are going to take a beating…nothing you can do about it.. except don’t ride weekends. I know some people don’t have that option. But let’s be realistic.
