At 0 degrees and 20 mph the temperature is -22 degrees. At 0 degrees and 50 mph the temp is. -30 degrees and frost bight in ten minutes… I don’t know about you but did you ever have one of your hand warmers take a dump on you? Talk about painful.
ReplyDeleteBack in the 60's and 70's there were no hand warmers, thumb warmers, helmets at all, super-duper suits, compared to todays' complete with heated visors, vests,seats and whatnot

DeleteNot thin, thick and very hard packed. Awesome base, at this rate you'll be able to ride until the season officially closes and they swing the gates. It's been a long time coming, enjoy.
DeleteThey didn’t mean the trails but the amount of people riding in old forge like Steve said there is snow to ride all over
DeleteMy bad. I think the "ridership" is probably thinning out due to a really awesome/long riding season this year, but the folks that live in old forge and farther north need a break, they've been dealing with this since December.

Rode 200 miles Friday night and Saturday in tug hill.
