One hell of a season didn't get up as much as I should have because of unreliable people but the time I did I had a great time and I won't be selling my sled anytime soon. Again Steve thanks for the great reports it is a must see everyday there's a lot of other Facebook sites but nothing compares to your report thanks again
I would've liked a little more seat time spread out over a longer time frame. The big "mileage" drive is beyond me, I much prefer a quality ride enjoying the scenery, places to go enjoying food and atmosphere, and of course the other sledders, especially those with children. The upcoming season will see a shift more towards that than just spinning an odometer. Anyways, awesome season, and I always enjoy my time at tbe forge.
I totally agree with you. I’m not about the miles I’m about the smiles. I don’t understand why people try to rack up the miles. Maybe it makes them feel better about having a snowmobile that they only get to use a few weeks out of the year. I look at it like the more miles I put on the sooner I need to buy a new one. And they aren’t cheap anymore!
Brothers in law were railing the mileage game 30 years ago, I didn't understand it then, still don't. I think you nailed it with justification, seen some folks applying the same to campers and boats......gotta go "x" times to warrant the cost, kinda kills the purpose in the first place.
To each his own. I gotta get out of old forge and go somewhere. Cant ride in circles all day. More into long days not necessarily high miles. Dont hang out in bars all day either. Just for food.
The Fat Lady will be singing at Point Park today, all day long!
ReplyDeleteFor sure! There are spots in the back parking lot that the grass is starting to show.
DeleteDoes she know any acdc?
DeleteShe only sings the Blues!
