This year's SnoFest is one to put in the record book. By everything I say there was a record turnout for the show and the jumpers. I'd also like to thank all of the people that take the camera out so we all can see what it's looking like out on the trails.

Mother Nature and Old Man Winter sure has been kind to the area this winter and let's hope this tread continues on in the years to come. Check out the deer in the info center time lapse. They are hanging out behind the sign. My guess they are using it for a wind break.

Temps should start to drop overnight and I'm hoping by am we will be seeing snow coming from the sky. Conditions may not be as good as it has been this past month. But after looking at the long range forecast you better take a vantage of what we got. Because it will be going downhill fast next week.

If I looked at the forecast and believed it, I would have stayed home. I rolled the dice and got a 64 mile ride in tonight. At 10:30pm we still aren't seeing any R. Forecast had it staring around 7pm. I know it's wishful thinking but cross your fingers we dodge the mess headed our way.

Went out for a ride tonight and headed south. I'm hoping this wasn't my last ride for the season. All depends on how big of a hit we take on Wednesday. I forgot to include radar and so on in the video. So they are listed below. First time in some time that we don't have snow in the 48-hour forecast.

I'm standing by my statement of get up here in the next few days. Because Wednesday still looks like the turning point, from the great conditions we have been enjoying the last month plus. I would guess we'll see a shot or two of snow before the gates are closed for the season. But will conditions be as good as they are now?

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 25 below expected. * WHERE...Hamilton, Northern Herkimer, and Southern Herkimer Counties.
I could be wrong, but if you plan on getting in some more riding this season. I'd try to do it in the next three days. Because Wednesday doesn't look all that great and it could change conditions big time. Not saying conditions couldn't come back, but you never know.
