Lake Effect Snow Warning

 LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Snow accumulations between
6 and 12 inches with locally higher amounts in the most persistent
bands. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will result in blowing and
drifting snow.

* WHERE...Northern Herkimer County. The greatest snowfall amounts
are expected to occur near the Route 8 corridor.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Sunday.

One thing is for sure this upcoming week.  We aren't going to see any melt downs unless the forecast really changes.  So, all the wet spots will be going away.  Cross your fingers the lake effect gives us a good amount of snow overnight and more this upcoming week.

    2. I don't blame you a bit,the cost of the truck and then put a plow on it is thur the roof and not worth the money. Don't know what the going rate for plowing is in O.F. but to cover your overhead it better be a bundle. Now you can sit back and not worry about it.
