I thought it would...............

I said the other day that the pool was warming up.  Well, that didn't happen with the weather we had the last few days.  It's back to a chilling temp of 65.  On a good sunny day, the solar panels can warm it up 5 to 10 degrees. Not bad when there is 35,000 gallons of water in the pool.  Looks like Wednesday we'll start seeing the sun again.  Should be enough time to warm it up for the weekend.  If not I'll kick on the propane heater.

Today's Video..............

    2. Maybe if I'm out playing with the grandkids. I couldn't tell you the last time I even went in the pool.

  2. Steve, you have to frame this properly, it's all perspective. The pool is the north country version of the polar plunge. It's a challenge, jump on in if you have what it takes.

  3. Just checking... is the pool officially open?!

    1. After watching the June board meeting there is one person that needs to keep his mouth shut and that is Pat Duffy. He is not helping at all. His problem is he thinks he's ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIP'S and just likes to run his mouth.

  10. So good to see you still posting. Well you were posting a bunch. I guess playing motel has started demanding all of your time. Let’s hope your new routine breaks our low to no snow curse. You would think with all the crap the government is spraying in the air we would be getting more rain but it appears to be doing quite the opposite down south here.
We need some liquid precipitation Bad.

    1. I was happy to see the power supply was the problem. It's an easy fix. You just have to wait for the parts to show up.

    2. Understand the waiting part, sometimes it's fast and other times it's slow. You can pay for fast service but man it's costly.

  17. Can't believe this town, closing the Mt. down for the summer and the contracts aren't even in place to start the work. Don't even have a contract for the deck replacement. Mt. won't be open for the 24-25 winter season and at this rate won't make the 26-27 season. Better get a replacement for the supervisor or there won't be a town left to run. Everything is we are working on it and will talk about next month. The town needs a new leader because there is not one now.

  20. Well that wonderful town supervisor has done it again. Has messed up the Police Department now Of All Things. Trail permits with Inlet, the Mt. with the contracts for the lifts, not to mention the town water and sewer system problems. And all you hear is we will talk about that next month and that's every month. Looks to me that it's time to clean the house and start over again before everything is gone, this is a very serious problem. The town needs a strong leader that it does not have now.

  21. How bout it Steve ?? you have always had the Town's interest first and centered , I'm sure your not interested in politics that's why you would make a excellent choice !! The time for change is upon us .

    2. Same goes with the summer air in your snow tires , you have to swap it out or you loose traction in the snow something about heat retention

      Delete
    3. That's right that's another thing,we can go places with our winter air where people are stuck with the summer air. The highway dept.changes the air in the truck tires.
