LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING

 At 7pm we are starting to have some wind gusts and the R has changed over to light snow.  I'm hoping the power stays on.  With no frost in the ground, trees will come down easy if we get the 50 mph winds that are in the forecast.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 7 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
of 5 to 9 inches mainly along and north of Route 28 and in
western Hamilton County. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Herkimer County and Hamilton Counties.

* WHEN...From this evening through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility.
