The railroad tracks are great! Already put in 65 miles before breakfast at Beaver River! LOL Just kidding and dreaming. Happy Thanksgiving to all and especially Steve!
Yeah if this snow holds then get some liquid on top then freeze up maybe the groomers can make it rideable in a few weeks...Hopefully Steve the oracle will have something to say soon about all this ???
@PA Sled Freak I doubt that would work. When it rains it will usually freeze up the top layer of snow. You will have a hard top crust and soft snow underneath. You need something to pack the snow down. So until the groomers go out next month, there will be no base.
The date saying November 3rd.
ReplyDeleteSorry not it. I'll give you a hit. You won't be able to see it till daylight again.

ReplyDeleteOk I don't get it, mats? So much for me knowing what there is to know!
ReplyDeleteAt the info center parking lot. The town crews put down thick rubber mats so the sleds don't dig up the blacktop.
ReplyDeleteYes it does. Setting up base. Ya idjut b
ReplyDeleteJust getting snow does not set up base. Do you know how the base is formed? From compacting the snow then melting then refreezing.
DeleteI hope we can ride snodeo!!
