Hard to believe it's Snodeo weekend already, you sure can't tell by the weather, that's for sure. But you can by the amount of sled trailers that have been coming into town or by the vendors setting up at North Street for the show. This isn't the first and I'm sure not the last Snodeo without riding. But this may be the one to hold the record for the highest temp. Looks like we're going to be in the 40's and maybe even hit 50 over the weekend.
Today's video............
It will get here soon enough. We go though the same thing every year, we should all be use to it by now.
ReplyDeleteThe riding season is getting shorter and shorter as the years go by. When it does snow, the trails get pounded to dirt from a thousand sleds all at once.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt I will be riding only weekdays this season..(whenever that season starts)...Up Tuesday and home Friday...weekends will be a train wreck for sure !!!...maybe only get 7-10 days on the sled the way things are looking...Baaaaad start...
ReplyDeleteInstead of coming to SNODEO, I am golfing today!!
ReplyDeletenice log drag. Hopefully they get to use it this year. If you look at Accuweather long range thru the end if January doesn't look like the cold will make its way down. I sure hope there wrong!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Philly. We have a guy called Hurrican Schwarz . Total nerd but hes good. He put out a report or PRECAST a couple months ago. This El nino (whatever if I spelled wrong) Predicted this warmth jBUt JAnjuary or more importantly February could be a very very cold according to his Model By model research. The European ones are usually the more accurate ones and they predict a serious shift in jet stream based off of predicted weather patterns in the pacific.. So for those that wanna whine in the next few weeks be prepared to bite your tongue the late winter months could bring a very bad/Good storm system or 2.. Sorry for any misspellings Not proofreading tday....
