We woke up this morning to a coating of snow and at noon it is still snowing. Forecast is calling for it to change over to R later this afternoon, so we'll have to wait and see. You'll see in today's video, it all depends on where you are, on how much snow you got.
Welcome back! I have been checking this post over the past few days. Looking forward to a great season. I bought a brand new sled and can't wait to try it out. Steve could someone get me rate information during the week of Dec 9th chuckd913@verizon.net

ReplyDeleteHey Steve. Seee yaaa soon...
ReplyDeleteThey should change the name of Stillwater to No Water.
ReplyDeleteFeel Like a Kid again seeing the snow fly and everything white and clean.. True Sign to a Big Winter!!!
ReplyDelete34 dayz to go
We are due for a big winter like them old days. Myself and a few of the remaining Dirty Dozen members will be dropping off the T-Cats at B.Moose in the next couple weeks to get dialed in for this great upcoming season. Cant wait to do my Big Moose Yamaha to Daikers loop. The Best!!
ReplyDeleteTeam D&D, heh? Sounds more like a kid who needs to get out of momma's basement. ;)
DeleteYOU GOT THAT RIGHT
DeleteJust found your webcam and thus this site as well, having stayed at your motel several weeks ago. Love the video of the snow! No sleds in our house but have lived in Upstate NY my entire life. Snow can be a real pain but it sure is FUN and beautiful! Stay safe this season, everyone.
ReplyDeleteAccu weather is predicting a much warmer first 1/2 of winter. "just saying"
ReplyDeleteWhy do you feel the need to marsh our mello?
ReplyDeleteNo!!! It's true, not only is accuweather predicting a warmer than normal winter, all of the meatoroligist are predicting the same. I guess look at the brite side, it's not how you start, it's how you finish!! Remember last year.
ReplyDeleteSince when are meteorologist ever correct?? lol
ReplyDeleteMost of the time they are correct. We just remember when they are wrong which is 10%. They are 90% accurate in predictions for the first 2 monthes of winter. So to answer your question, they are correct most of the time
ReplyDeletemore like 50% correct, 50 % wrong! I want their job.
DeleteLOL. 90% accurate? What weather man has that kid been watching lmao.
DeleteI wouldn't put too much faith in AccuWeather. Have you seen they forecast 45 days in row. How ridiculous. Try wxrisk on Facebook for long-term look
ReplyDeleteVery Excited for Old Forge this Winter. Just Checking the Cams and Will be Ready for Dec for a Nice Ride to Inlet. Hope they are right for a Snowy Winter!! Were Over Due for a Whopper Season!!
ReplyDeleteSee you all At SnoDeo soon!!
It was a Whopper of a season last year. This year is a toss up
DeleteLooking forward to lucky 13th year in a row in old forge. See ya on trail 9 tom! It's gonna be a good one!
ReplyDeleteWhy is the leaf cam back? Put up the snow cam!
ReplyDeleteJust took a look and you are correct it's the leak cam. My guess would be the server had a problem and reset itself to the last good backup, which would of been the leaf cam.
DeleteAll fixed!
DeleteI'm still seeing Leaf-Cam...
DeleteTry hitting the refresh/reload. That should fix it.
DeleteLeak cam? I don't want to see that one.
DeleteNice to see all the Guys Fishing at Stillwater still with Fresh snow and temps in the Teens... Time to pull the boats out Folks..
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE SNOW
