Cold has returned..........

At one point today, the radar was showing R from Mexico to Maine.  But as the day went on it dried up and we didn't see all that much of the wet stuff.  The snow pack has gone down, but the ice is hanging in there.  Here's your snow fix for today. I should have enough footage to keep you going till the beginning of next week.

Today's Video........

  1. with rain this weekend and in the 40's all next week, it is officially over. Base will be gone so even if snow does come so it would be useless.

  4. To back up Steve's comment about how fast things can change, as we say here in Texas, "if you don't like the weather....just wait a minute!" Steve - we'll be in Old Forge the first week of August escaping the Texas heat. My blood has thinned a lot since leaving the north country many years ago and can't handle NY winters!

  5. Good point. Its time for TOW to unleash the quads since winters are done thanks to global warming. Business's would boom!

  6. That's what I'm waiting for I really don't think they know how much money they would take in you could have trail permits for June July and August and pay the same people they pay in the winter to maintain the Atv trails. There would never be any empty rooms at the hotels I just don't know why there not fighting for this I wish they would start lets just hope something could be done

    1. We'll I'm no expert but I think quads would tear up the trails beyond repair. Also if you have ever been in OF in the summer you would know its their biggest season & all motels are already full!

  9. Sure it would be great to have quads but it would destroy everything landowners would not want to deal with the noise or dust you ever ride behind a pack of quads on a dirt road it sucks only the leader has fun
