The forecast for this weekend looked like a wash out at the beginning of the week. But it turned around and it looks like we're going to have a nice weekend after all.
I'll go out on a limb and guess you may be vintage like myself. So here is my take on it. Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer to the end the faster it goes.
They finely posted the TOW BM gets interesting in the last 20 minutes or so !! Many towns are coming to terms with the STR and how they impact the local economy and putting limits on their ownership. Seeing in infighting with the snowmobiling permits WOW and the pushback from the board member(s) glad the agreed to pay-up what they owed, holding back monies like they (she) did not a good look. When is elections again .... asking for a friend !!
A big hand to Tom Greco for standing up for the town and taking control of the trail permit dispute with Inlet. I just hope it's not too late to save the partnership,if anyone can save it it will be Tom Greco. He needs to stand up and take control of some other things that are going on. Think about Tom for Supervisor we need a change in leadership and get back on track to save Old Forge. If things are addressed it going away.
Agreed ,the towns people who were there what snowmobiling and too pay their neighbor what’s owed the people who the townsfolk elected aren’t doing their job ! Go Tom you could see the frustration and body language Bonnie’s like it’s my money and I’m not paying!!!
And she still voted NAY at the end of it all. Remember that. She comes across as miserable, belittling and like the whole position as Super is one big inconvenience for her. She ran for it. Though I don't know how she got voted in. Must have been an open bar at the ballot house? Many did great speaking up. Including Steve. Hopefully things will be enforced. The squeaky wheel gets the oil one way or another.
July 4th, the turning point of summer, and not too far away. Two more weeks and we're half way between last Christmas ans next. Where did 2024 go?

DeleteShe sure didn't look good, went about it in the wrong way like a lot of other things,it's time for change she is in over her head.
ReplyDeleteIt's time for a town audit and to do some investigating.
