The last few days we really took a hit and the snow is going faster than I thought it would. The new snow from the last few weeks is gone and we are down to the old snow. The stuff that has been thawed and refrozen many times and is pretty muck ice pellets, with the ice base under that. I had hopes of getting in that last ride and bragging rights that I did. But after looking at the 10 day forecast I don't think it's going to be happening.
Today's video...……...
Well as the saying goes "You get what you Pay for" so FREE WEEKEND is here.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think our naked snow dance is going to do us any good. Will have to rest up and get it going early next season.

ReplyDeleteSurprised the governor didn't cancel the free weekend because of the national health emergency thought about a new sled but Mr SkiDoo's new candy/features were only handed out to a couple models
TEAM DD wraps a less than stellar season with 4579 miles on the sleds. Junk em and new Riots ordered for next season...
ReplyDeleteWhats going on at the beach.see a backhoe and a truck there
ReplyDeleteThey are removing the frame work from the old swimming platform while the water level is down.

DeleteHad amazing time staying at Christy's this snowmobiling season. I stayed at Christy's for almost 6 weeks this winter. Steve was probably wondering if I was ever going to leave. LOL. Met so many great people at Christy's. At times it felt like a family reunion in that so many of the guests knew each other. Got to see just about everything during my stay. From doom and gloom one day and the next day back to good riding conditions, Lake Effect, and a good old fashion snowstorm. Thanks again Steve for everything. Hope you have a great year and see you next winter.
ReplyDeleteHi Tony,
DeleteFirst let me say Thanks for staying with us and always offering to give me a hand. But it was almost as much fun for me, to watch you. By what you had told me, this was on your bucket list, to spend the time you did, here in the area snowmobiling. So having you around, was like watching a kid in a candy store or on Christmas morning. All full of excitement as each day unfolded or when you came back from another ride.
Thanks again,
Steve

ReplyDeleteGates are all closed, that's the real end

ReplyDeleteJan and Feb I was right with past years. But March was a slow month with the conditions going away so fast. Thanks for watching and it won't be long till it's sledding season again.
