Coming to an end.............

With the forecast looking the way it is, I think it's going to be coming to an end by mid week.  We lost some of the new snow we got on Friday today.  Monday and Tuesday look like slow melting days, because of the sun and after that look out.  Mid week on we'll have warm temps and looks like some R.  I'll be posting a few more times before they close the gates, just not every day.  Thanks to all for watching!

Today's Video...………….

  1. Have to sadly agree Steve with plenty of snow on the trails getting anywhere was tough this weekend Saturday was barely there by roads even with the new snow by Sunday it's gone, We ended the season by doing the entire interior trail system just to get some seat time in trail 9 was a carpet in fact trail 5 was actually good and for a weekend goes to show what a good base is about.
Have a Great Summer packing up next weekend.

  3. Thanks again Steve for everything. I remember back when you did just a written report describing each trail. That was before the videos. I use to read it and think, who is this guy that goes out on the trails and does a report so we all know what to expect? For 3 years I wasn’t able to make it up there but looking at the videos and hearing the comments made it like I was there. I finally made it this year again and had a blast with a friend that’s new to riding. A great service done by a great guy!

  6. Dear Steve,
Thanks for another year of highly accurate reporting and informative - often entertaining - videos. (Loved your capture of the little snowmen in this last video even though they were a sad metaphor for the season's end...)
I know you put a lot of work into this and always give out your website to riders, so keep up the good work! I look forward to meeting you in person, and already feel like you're an old friend. 😊

  8. I just want to echo everyone else and say a big thanks to you Steve. I am a regular follower of the blog to help with my plan making of wether or not to make the trip (from Albany). Although I only got out to OF once this year it was well worth it with nearly 400 miles in for that weekend! Luckily my reason for not getting out too much was because we had great local conditions that allowed me to get more than the usual amount of local trail riding in. Already looking forward to Snodeo '19...Thanks again and enjoy the warmer weather.
