Not yet...........

Don't give up hope, not yet.  I know it isn't looking all that promising and all they are calling for is 1 to 4 at best.  But if the storm tracks just a little to one way or the other.  We could see enough snow to get us back to rideable conditions.  With 6" of wet snow conditions would be at least marginal.  But at this point, marginal could almost be called great.  So keep an eye on the cams to see what we wind up with.

After watching the video I noticed I made a mistake.  What did I mess up?

Today's Video..........

  1. You said you made a right onto Trail 3 when you made a left.
Thanks Steve for all the reports through this horrible season.

  2. Thanks for taking the time Steve...that was great giving us a fix of "Firt" from your truck....before the fat lady sings anyway...Although she's been warming up for weeks I think next week she really sings the tune. Take care...

  5. Haha... You made a LEFT on 3 off 1 when you narrated that you were going right. And I'm gonna guess that "firt" is frozen dirt, though I have a different f- word for it this year... We feel somewhat responsible for the lousy conditions since we bought a lovely new stagger-load trailer from North/ South and no doubt, jinxed us all. ;) Thanks again for all your honesty about the conditions - we have been hopeful every week since we were there in early January but now it looks like this winter is over and we'll have to wait another 9 months at least. I feel badly for all the hospitality and restaurant business owners and employees who are enduring a terrible economic hit in terrible economic times and hope that you have a sensational summer.

  6. Mess up? You left out the part where the DEC stopped you for driving on State Land? Geez next time you decide to truck ride the trails, let us know so we can ride along and log a few more miles for the season!

  7. Boy I guess you guys are listening to what I say. Yes I made a left but I said right and yes "firt" is frozen dirt. That part of the system is owned by the town. So no problem with the DEC.

  8. I got caught driving on a state land road years ago while prospecting for new hunting grounds. Cost me $1200, lost my hunting license for 2 years, and my insurance premiums went up. DEC will take your $$$$, no problem.

    1. Your insurance premiums went up? From what kind of ticket? You insurance wont go up unless you have a moving violation that adds points to your license. People on here have nothing else better to do than make garbage up.
