Sorry about not getting things posted the last few days. It's been crazy around here and I just seem to run out of hours in the day. Ok so what do we have going on. Well as I said and I am sure most of you saw on the cams we got 1 to 2 feet here in Old Forge and some areas got even more from the storm that ended on Monday. The groomers have been out in full force, but it's been slow going with all of this new snow. It's hard to tell where the edge of the trail is and if they get off the edge it's not pretty. Trust me on this one....been there, done that. It's not fun to put the drag off the edge or the entire packer. It's better to go slow than spend hours getting back on the trail. This weekend is SnoFest 2001 and here is a link for it http://www.snofestusa.com/
There are two videos today the first is the pan of the lot and the second is from Chris's cam from yesterday.
Chris rides on the left side of the trail quite a bit in this video....that can be a recipe for disaster.
ReplyDeleteBe careful Chris, and "ride right". ;)
Is someone feeding the deer in the parking lot? I've seen him three times today.

Just got back trails are awesome as of last night but roads are not you can get around but not the best. Confusion flats would be a good option and you can get to the pine tree with minimal road riding. I got over to tug hill area and it was hit and miss the trail by the drive in across rt 12 is closed due to open water go by the edge motel to get there.

I agree with Duane, seems more on the left than the right. Please stay to the right. Other then that, looks nice.
